Cross-Persona Divergence Brief

Question it answers: On the same issue, where do two stakeholder layers (e.g. CEO / strategic vs. Director / operational) see it differently — and what are their opposing words, side by side? Cadence: On demand (per issue set) GTM owner: Content

Data sources

Internal: interactions segmented into TWO persona layers via role_level and stakeholder flags (is_champion / is_economic_buyer), filtered to speaker_type = 'external'. cluster_search with target: 'interactions' on the shared issues/themes to find where both personas talk about the same thing. Raw utterances per persona per theme (with interaction_id). Optional per-account reconstruction joining interactions over time + deals to map the "what we tried" journey arc.

External: None by default — this is a persona-vs-persona internal read. Optionally external_search { action: enrich_topic } to add the market framing as a third voice for contrast.

Living Document

An on-demand brief that, for a chosen set of issues, contrasts how two personas frame each one — purpose-built to fuel multi-voice content (the CEO posts the strategic vision, the Head of Growth posts the operational reality). This is the one archetype none of the other docs cover: #2 and #10 do market-vs-customer divergence; this does persona-vs-persona divergence.

Sections:

  • Personas under contrast — which two layers (A vs. B) and the theme set this run
  • Per issue
    • The strategic view (persona A) — synthesis + 2–3 verbatim quotes
    • The operational view (persona B) — synthesis + 2–3 verbatim quotes
    • The divergence — classified (framing / priority / magnitude / polarity) with a one-line statement of the gap
  • Same-account splits — accounts where BOTH personas appear and disagree on an issue (the strongest content fodder — real two-sided tension inside one buyer)
  • Journey narratives — per-account "tried X → it failed → finally landed on Y" arcs that resonate for both audiences
  • Content angles — 2–3 multi-voice content concepts grounded in the paired quotes, ready to hand to GACCS (#12)

Each brief is a versioned KB document. Content reviews and promotes. Related briefs accumulate into a reusable contrast library.

Page

A live side-by-side contrast view. Two persona selectors + a theme multi-select are the parameters.

Persona A / Persona B selectors: pick the two stakeholder layers to contrast.

Theme multi-select: the issues to compare across.

Stats row:

  • Number of issues with a detected divergence
  • Number of same-account persona pairs found
  • Top divergence type this run (framing / priority / magnitude / polarity)

Dual-column layout: Per theme, persona A quotes on the left, persona B quotes on the right — the raw contrast.

Divergence table: One row per issue — issue, persona-A stance, persona-B stance, divergence type, supporting-quote count per side.

Table — Same-account contrasts: Accounts where both personas spoke on the same issue — company, issue, A quote, B quote, deal stage.
